Officials across the tri-states say it may take some time to determine how much damage Monday’s round of severe weather did. The storms that ripped through yesterday afternoon were part of a derecho bringing some areas winds up to 90 miles-an-hour. Tornado warnings were issued for areas including Platteville and Darlington. Although officials have received many reports of storm damage, there have been few reports of serious injuries. Thousands of customers lost power during the storms – and some were still without service this morning.
