The Lancaster Public Library Foundation has been awarded a grant of approximately $50,000 from the Lancaster Community Fund to improve several aspects of the library’s grounds. Specifically, the historic streetlights surrounding the library will be restored and fitted with new lamps to match the new streetlights in downtown Lancaster. This project will visually tie together the library and the courthouse square. Funds from the grant will also be used to provide outdoor electrical outlets on the library grounds.
