Two Vehicle Crash With No Injuries

On Tuesday around 3:15 PM, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded a two vehicle crash on Highway 151 just north of exit 18. 38 year old Amanda Place of Platteville was driving her vehicle and had just entered Highway 151 from an exit ramp. 67 year old Darryl Reinick of Wauwatosa was traveling north in his vehicle. Place veered from the right lane to the left lane into the path of Reinick to make an unauthorized turn at a cross over. Reinick was unable to stop in time and ran into the back of Place’s van causing road blockage. Neither driver was injured in the crash. Place was able to drive her vehicle from the scene. Reinick’s vehicle was towed. Assisting at the scene was the Platteville Fire Department, Southwest Health Care EMS and Donnie’s towing of Dickeyville. The crash remains under investigation.
