If you love camping in Wisconsin, there’s a great opportunity to help spread that love statewide. The state Department of Natural Resources is looking for volunteers to serve as campground hosts. Hosts would stay at a campsite while volunteering for a few hours every day. They would greet campers, answer questions and help with daily operations. Campground hosts also help to clean and maintain campsites while helping to make sure campers have a safe and enjoyable time. The DNR is also looking for volunteers to serve as equestrian campground hosts at Governor Knowles State Forest, Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit, Kettle Moraine State Forest – Southern Unit and Wildcat Mountain State Park. If you’re interested in serving as a campground host or equestrian campground host, you can find more information at the DNR’s website.
