31 homes were damaged in one of last week’s tornadoes that touched down in Rock County. Emergency Management officials say, in total, three homes were destroyed, 10 sustained major damage, 11 sustained minor damage and seven others were somewhat affected. The damage assessments were made using the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Damage Assessment Criteria. Rock County was impacted by two historic tornadoes last week, an EF-1 near Juda and Albany and an EF-2 that cut a path from just south of Evansville to north of Lake Koshkonong.
