Yesterday at 9:39 PM Iowa County Communications Center took a report of a motorcycle that was laying on the side of the road from an apparent crash with a deer on County Road NN, just off of State Road 130 in Clyde township. It was reported that there was no one around the vehicle at the time of the call. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies, Lone Rock Fire and EMS responded to the scene and a search for the driver was conducted. Following an initial search of the area a Drone was requested and deployed in an attempt to use thermal imaging to locate the rider. Approximately one hour after the initial call, the communications center received a call from a family member that the rider was safe but was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital for evaluation of injuries sustained in the crash. VP Motors assisted with the removal of the motorcycle.
