Beaver Dam man arrested in Dodgeville for drugs

On Sunday at 12:35 PM Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Highway 18 and Bennett Road in Dodgeville. As a result of the stop, 41-year-old John M. Shipp of Beaver Dam, was arrested on charges of Operating While Suspended, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of THC (2nd Offense), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia to Manufacture Methamphetamine, and two counts Felony Bail Jumping. Shipp was transported to the Iowa County Jail, where he is currently being held.
