Crawford County is grappling with multiple fraudulent transactions. In October, a check cut by the county for $1,252.82 to Continental Battery Company was intercepted. The check was cashed by an unknown person who also changed the amount to $5,252.82. In November the county detected unauthorized PayPal transactions and two T-Mobile charges. The county has been able to get all the money back.
