Camp Little Cloud receives national accreditation

A local Girl Scout camp has received national accreditation. Girl Scout Camp Little Cloud, located near Epworth, recently received accreditation from the American Camp Association. The accreditation results from a review of 266 standards of the camp’s operation, from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. The American Camp Association collaborates with the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross and other youth-serving agencies to ensure that current practices at the camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation.
