Governor Kim Reynolds announced that $10 million will go toward opioid treatment and recovery providers in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Davenport, Des Moines, Mason City, Oskaloosa and Sioux City. The grants will aim to expand or improve services and to develop sober-living options in response to the opioid epidemic. Six organizations will receive more than $8 million in grants, including Area Substance Abuse Council, Inc. in Dubuque.
