One injured in Paris rollover

On Sunday, at 4:45 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 151 Northbound at West Ln., in the Township of Paris. 25-year-old Dulce Manuel Garcia of East Dubuque, IL was traveling Northbound on Highway 151 when she swerved to avoid a deer. As a result of swerving to avoid the collision, Garcia’s vehicle left the roadway and rolled over, coming to rest on its passenger side. Garcia and her passenger, 40-year-old Lucas Antonio Felipe of East Dubuque, IL, were able to exit the vehicle prior to Law Enforcement arrival. Garcia reported head and body pain, but refused EMS care, and Felipe was uninjured. No citations were issued.
