Avoca man arrested following domestic disturbance

On Saturday at 12:39 PM The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a disturbance at 5th and East Wisconsin Streets in the City of Avoca. The Avoca Police Department, Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies, and the Department of Natural Resources responded to the scene. As a result of the incident, 59-year-old Daniel G. Conner of Avoca, was arrested on charges of Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Strangulation and Suffocation. Conner was transported to the Iowa County Jail, where he remains in custody.
