Two arrested following bar fight in Bloomington

On Monday, at 6:30 p.m., deputies from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Blue Jays Bar in Bloomington, for a report of two men fighting. As a result of the investigation, 59-year-old Jeffrey Bartels of Bloomington was arrested and transported to the Grant County Jail, where he was booked in for one count of Disorderly Conduct. 39-year-old Dustin Hampton of Prairie Du Chien was initially issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct for the incident at the bar. After the incident at the bar, Hampton went to a nearby residence where he caused a separate disturbance. Deputies responded to the second incident, where they subsequently arrested Hampton and transported him to the Grant County Jail, where he was also booked in for one count Disorderly Conduct.
