The names of individuals involved in a fatal Green County crash on Monday have been released. 84-year-old Randall Whitney of rural Juda died at the hospital from injuries sustained in the crash. On Monday, the Green County Sheriffs responded to a crash on Richland Road in Jefferson. A semi operated by 66-year-old Richard Waters of Waukee, IA was parked along the road with hazards on due to a mechanical issue when Whitney collided with the semi. Whitney was no wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Waters was uninjured in the crash.
