The Crawford County Public Health Department reviewed tobacco sales violation data during the county’s Public Safety Committee meeting on January 14 and the numbers weren’t good. Public Health Specialist Dawn Adams and three youths conducted tobacco sale checks on December 27th, testing a total of 23 businesses. There were five sales that happened to the youths, which means a 20% failure rate. All five violations came from businesses that were not checked in 2023.
