Commemorative O.E. Gray bricks available

As the former O.E. Gray School is being demolished to make way for the new Fire Facility, the public is invited to take home a piece of its history. Bricks from the school are currently available on a first-come, first-serve basis and can be found outside the construction fence near the corner of Lewis and Elm Streets. Those interested in acquiring a brick may do so as a memento of the school, but please note that bricks are intended for personal keepsakes and should not be collected in large quantities for other purposes. Contractors will monitor the piles and the individual bricks that are placed at the designated area. If more is needed they will continue to place them, or break more apart.
