No injuries in Linden brush fire

On Thursday just after 2 PM The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of an out-of-control brush fire near County Road J and Avenell Road in Linden Township. Emergency personnel from multiple agencies responded, including Highland Fire Department, Cobb Fire Department, Linden Fire Department, Livingston Fire Department, Montfort Fire Department, Mineral Point Fire Department, and Rewey Fire Department. Cobb First Responders, Livingston First Responders, Montfort EMS, and Mineral Point EMS also assisted at the scene, along with the Linden Police Department and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies. Fire crews successfully contained the blaze, and no injuries were reported.
