On Friday at 6:30 AM Lafayette County Deputies responded to County Highway G, Willow Springs Township for a one vehicle accident. 35-year-old Blake A Wedig of Belmont lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and came to a rest in the river. No injuries were reported. Wedig’s truck received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Darlington Fire, Lafayette County EMS, and Darlington Police assisted on scene.
