Gov. Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) announced a $645,000 Transportation Economic Assistance (TEA) grant for the Village of Dickeyville in Grant County. The money is meant to support the redesign of Old Highway Road and the construction of a new intersection, facilitating A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co.’s expansion into Wisconsin and creating 129 jobs. The grant will enhance access points for a new industrial park in Dickeyville, improving local infrastructure and supporting business development. The project includes widening roads and adding turn lanes, creating a key transportation corridor. Dickeyville’s leaders also thanked everyone involved with the project for trusting the village’s vision and mission.
