On Tuesday the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit (Diego) initiated a traffic stop in Prairie du Chien. During the stop, K-9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. The driver, 52-year-old Christopher Myers of La Crosse and his passenger 35-year-old Calvin Uhrich of La Crosse were arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
