Sienna Spiro is lending her voice to a PETA UK campaign encouraging people to adopt animals from shelters rather than buy them from breeders or pet shops.
As part of the campaign, Spiro visited the Mayhew animal welfare organization and spent time with rescue animals waiting for permanent homes. The effort highlights the number of dogs, cats, and other pets in shelters that need families.
During the visit, Spiro stressed that adopting an animal is a long-term responsibility. She encouraged people to think carefully before bringing a pet home and to consider adoption when they are ready to make that commitment.
