Wisconsin State Fair announces Sporkies and Drinkies award winners

The Sporkies Award for best new food at the Wisconsin State Fair has been awarded. This year’s Golden Sporkie goes to the Birria Flamin’ Bombs from the Fiesta Grill and Cantina. The fried balls are filed with birria, onion, cilantro and cheese. This year’s Drinkie award went to the Tilt-a-Spritz from the Old Fashioned Sipper Club. It’s made with grapefruit and lime with ginger beer. The State Fair runs through Sunday, August 16, in West Allis.
