Karol G has opened up about her early admiration for Eminem, revealing how the rapper’s music made a lasting impression on her long before she fully understood English.

During a conversation with actress Salma Hayek, the Colombian superstar recalled listening to Eminem while growing up. She explained that his energy, delivery, and distinctive style captured her attention, even when the lyrics were difficult to understand.

The discussion also revealed a shared musical favorite. Hayek expressed her own admiration for Eminem’s 2002 hit Lose Yourself, explaining that the song helps her feel powerful and motivated.

For Karol G, her connection to Eminem’s music became even stronger as her English improved and she began understanding the meaning behind his lyrics.

The conversation offered another glimpse into the musical influences that helped shape Karol G’s career. Although she is best known for her success in Latin music, hip-hop has remained part of her musical interests.

Over the years, she has also worked with major rap artists, including Nicki Minaj and Pop Smoke, bringing different musical styles together.
