Drug Charges in Lafayette County Following Overdose

Lafayette County authorities have arrested two people and four others are being referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office on drug charges after an investigation in South Wayne where three unresponsive adults were administered Narcan following an overdose.  On Wednesday, at around 2:40am, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call requesting EMS at a residence in South Wayne for three unresponsive adults. Sheriff’s deputies, South Wayne First Response, and Green County EMS were immediately paged and dispatched to the residence. Deputies and First Responders administered Narcan to the three unresponsive adults, believing they may have overdosed on an opiate. All three were revived and taken to Monroe Clinic Hospital. Lafayette County Detectives with the assistance of the Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Monroe Police Department conducted an investigation into the overdose situation. Search warrants were executed at two residences in South Wayne. As a result of the investigation, 31 year old Samuel Krebs of South Wayne, formerly from Forest Junction, was arrested and faces charges of Delivery of Heroin, Reckless Endangering Safety and Maintaining a Drug Dwelling, as well as multiple warrants. 25 year old William Osbough of South Wayne,  was arrested and faces charges of Delivery of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Various drug  charges against four other persons are being referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office. They include 23 year old Shayna Krebs, 39 year old Corey Lee Seffrood, 57 year old Donald Surrell and 53 year old Betty Surrell all of South Wayne.
