There will be a contested election for the 51st Assembly seat in Southwest Wisconsin. Kriss Marion of Blanchardville is challenging the incumbent, Todd Novak of Dodgeville. Marion announced her intentions to run over the weekend on social media. Marion is a member of the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors and, along with her husband, have a farm in Lafayette County and run a bed and breakfast. Marion previously ran for the 17th Senate seat occupied by Howard Marklein of Dodgeville.
