The COVID-19 pandemic has affected several areas in the Platteville community. The closure of non-essential businesses, plus temporary closures of dine-in bars and restaurants, has impacted the city’s small businesses. In response to this, the city of Platteville is diverting funds to a new Small Business Emergency Support Program. This program is designed to help businesses that need it most during this pandemic. City officials say the program is available thru the end of the year – or until funding runs out. Details on the Small Business Emergency Support Program can be found on the city of Platteville website.
*Correction: bar and restaurant owners can NOT apply to waive their annual liquor license fees or other license fees.
