The crowd will be smaller at this summer’s Democratic National Convention, but some delegates are saying they will brave the coronavirus threat and make the trip. Convention C-E-O Joe Solmonese says the Fiserv Forum is going to be a busy place in August. Delegates have the option of participating remotely, but Solmonese says he’s not planning for a completely virtual event. Party leaders say they expect the presumptive nominee, Joe Biden, to deliver his acceptance speech inside the Fiserv Forum. The Democratic Party is no longer committed to holding a four-day event.
