Southwest Health in Platteville has announced that it will not host its annual Berry Fest in 2020 due to safety concerns associated with the COVID19 virus. In lieu of a large community gathering, Berry Fest organizers are planning a special version of their popular “Passport to Fun” program, inspiring children to complete a range of fun and healthy activities throughout Platteville’s Hometown Festival Week, July 18th to July 26th. This year would have been the 71st Annual Berry Fest, a tradition began by the Auxiliary of the Platteville Municipal Hospital in 1950.
