A large group of protesters gathered at the steps of the state Capitol in Madison on Wednesday night. The demonstration began with a march around the Capitol. Following that march, the group continued to congregate around the capitol until 9 p.m. That’s when the group held an 8 minute moment of silence for George Floyd. The group of demonstrators stood in silence, some holding up a fist, others holding a candle. The protest on Wednesday night remained peaceful.
