Prairie du Chien Couple Arrested For Drugs

Two people from Prairie du Chien are facing multiple drug charges after police searched their home late last month. According to a Prairie du Chien Police Department report, 39-year-old Steven Mahlstedt and 37-year-old Jessica Mahlstedt are both being charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and for maintaining a drug house. Officials searched the couple’s home and found over 900 grams of marijuana, items related to the use of meth, drug paraphernalia, and about $83-hundred dollars in cash. Police say this is an ongoing investigation and more charges are possible.
