Barneveld Man Arrested For Disturbance

Iowa County authorities responded to a disturbance on West Division Street in Dodgeville Thursday just after 3pm. The Dodgeville Police Department, Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies and Dodgeville EMS all assisted at the scene. As a result, 32 year old Andrew Schmidt of Barneveld was arrested on battery charges. Schmidt was taken to the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office where he was booked on the charges and remains in custody.
