Illinois Man Arrested For Thefts

A person from Scales Mound has been arrested after authorities found a stolen golf cart, plus other items connected to a burglary in Lafayette County. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Jesse Jones faces charges of felony theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to a report, a deputy discovered a golf cart in rural Scales Mound that had been stolen from Eagle Ridge Resort. Authorities then searched the nearby residence and found another stolen golf cart, drug paraphernalia and items related to the burglary in southwest Wisconsin.
