Two Vehicle Crash in Kendall Township

Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to Bethel Grove Road in Kendall Township for a two vehicle accident Saturday around 8:15pm. 70 year old Robert Brainerd of Mineral Point failed to stop at the stop sign, causing his vehicle to strike an oncoming vehicle driven by 17 year old Lauren Kishman of Monona, Iowa. Brainerd’s vehicle and Kishman’s vehicle had moderate damage and were both towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. Belmont EMS and Belmont Fire assisted at the scene.
