New Pool In Warren Could Open in May 2023

Officials in Jo Davies County have announced an updated timeline for the construction of a new pool in Warren. Members of the Meridian Park Pool Committee plan to go through the bidding process for the project in June. The new pool is expected to open in May 2023. Committee members originally estimated that replacing the Meridian Park pool, built in 1977, would cost about $2.8 million. The committee had hoped to open the new pool in June 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic limited fundraising activities and postponed construction.
