Man Hits Flagger Truck

A Mineral Point man has been cited after he crashed into county flagger truck. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office reports 70-year-old Andrew Goebel was driving east on County Highway G in Belmont Township about 9:45 Tuesday morning. Authorities say Goebel failed to see a Lafayette County Highway Department flagger truck and hit the rear of the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Goebel was cited for Inattentive Driving, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance.
