A Medical Assistant instructor at Southwest Tech has been recognized with the Unsung Champion award. Tonia Breuer of Bloomington was presented the honor by the Women’s Leadership Network of Dubuque. She received the award at the organization’s Women of Achievement event this spring. The Unsung Champion award is given to a woman who works behind-the-scenes. Breuer has been a Medical Assistant instructor at Southwest Tech for 18 years.
