The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports that the state’s number of COVID-19 cases more than doubled from March to April. DHS recorded about 13-thousand-600 cases in March. For April, that number grew to roughly 28-thousand-700. Though the amount of cases increased month-to-month, DHS figures show COVID-related deaths have remained steady during that time. The number of cases for April is just a fraction when compared to January’s monthly case count of 385-thousand.
