Lancaster’s Chuck Rasmussen will be inducted into the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame this Sunday during a banquet at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Rasmussen will be receiving the National Hall of Fame Lifetime Service Award. He has coached 29 WIAA State wrestling qualifiers, including four state runners-up and two State Champions in a coaching career at Lancaster that spanned 12 years at the junior varsity level, and as a head coach from 1993 to 2006. For the past 15 years, Rasmussen has helped coach wrestling at the middle school level and has served as a wrestling announcer for WGLR, Fox Sports North, and Western Wisconsin Video Productions. Ken Manning, who preceded Rasmussen as wrestling coach at Lancaster, nominated him for the Hall of Fame.Â
