Village officials have approved new sewer rates for the residents of Dickeyville. At the April village board meeting, representatives from MSA Professional Services presented four options to the community. Last week, board members voted for the 3rd option, which will increase rates roughly 33-percent. According to village officials, the minimum sewer charge goes from $20.50 up to $27.22 – and the sewer usage rate goes from $8-dollars up to $10.63 per 1-thousand gallons used. The rate increase will take effect on the July utility bill. This increase is due to DNR mandated updates at the Dickeyville sewer plant.
