Field of Dreams Actor Dies

The actor who played Shoeless Joe Jackson in the “Field of Dreams” movie shot in Dyersville has died. Reports say Ray Liotta died in his sleep while in the Dominican Republic working on a project. He was 67. Liotta starred alongside Kevin Costner in the movie that was filmed on the farm site near Dyersville and later became a classic. Liotta is also known for his role in “Godfellas.”
