A Dubuque public elementary school will receive a new playground next summer. Board members unanimously approved an $8,965 contract with FEH Design for architectural and engineering services for the Marshall Elementary School playground replacement project. District officials last year announced the launch of a rolling plan to replace almost all the district’s elementary school playgrounds. Lincoln and Audubon elementary schools received new playgrounds that opened near the beginning of the school year. District Buildings and Grounds Manager Rob Powers said the district plans to complete the new Marshall playground this coming summer ahead of the 2025-2026 school year.
