Micheal Cole, actor from Madison, died

An actor who grew up in Madison has died. Michael Cole is best known for playing one of three young undercover cops in “The Mod Squad.” Cole portrayed Pete Cochran on the ABC series, which ran from 1968-1973 on ABC and aired for five seasons with 123 episodes. In 1979, Cole reunited with “Mod Squad” cast members for a telefilm reunion. After “Mod Squad,” Cole made guest appearances on shows like “Wonder Woman,” “Fantasy Island,” “CHiPs,” “Murder She Wrote,” and “ER.” Michael Cole was 84-years-old.
