On Sunday just before 7 PM A Mineral Point Police Officer, in conjunction with Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies, conducted a traffic stop on Maiden St in Mineral Point. As a result of the stop, 34-year-old Ambrocio J Perea Calero of Darlington was arrested on the charge of Operating without a Valid License 3rd or subsequent offense. Perea Calero was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was later released on bond.
