North Freedom man arrested for OWI in Barneveld

On Wednesday at 2:10 AM The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of suspicious activity at County Road ID and Commerce Street in the City of Barneveld. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. As a result of the incident, 30-year-old Niles V. Cox of North Freedom, was arrested on charges of Operating While Under the Influence (OWI). Cox was transported to the Iowa County Jail, where he was later released.
