After measures failed to win approval in two operating referendums in 2024, Cuba City School District is going to voters once again. An operating referendum will be on district ballots for the April 1 election. The district will look to voters to approve a five-year, non-recurring measure that would increase operating revenue by $900,000 in 2025-2026, $1.3 million in 2026-2027, $1.5 million in 2027-2028, $1.7 million in 2028-2029 and $1.9 million in 2029-2030. The ballot measure provides for a 2.5% staff pay bump. The plan to send the measure to referendum was approved unanimously at a special meeting Monday.
