The Wisconsin National Guard website is down in order to comply with Pres. Trump’s executive order signed Monday regarding diversity, equity and inclusion. Trump’s DEI plan is to toss out equity plans developed by federal agencies. This includes terminating any roles or offices dedicated to promoting diversity. When directed to the Wisconsin National Guard website, there is a message that reads: In accordance with the Presidential Executive Order, our websites are under maintenance to ensure our compliance with the requirements of the order. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope to be back online soon. There were reports of the Wisconsin Emergency Management and the Department of Military Affairs websites were also down Thursday, but have since been restored.
