Dodgeville street shut down following crash with a power pole

On Monday just before 11:30 AM the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a one-vehicle crash involving a power pole on N Iowa St in the City of Dodgeville. Dodgeville Police Department, Dodgeville Fire, Dodgeville EMS and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. Alliant Energy was also dispatched to the scene and northbound traffic was shut down for about 4 hours while the power pole was repaired. Two people were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Randy’s Towing assisted with removing the vehicle from the scene.
