Illinois woman arrested in Dubuque for assault with a dangerous weapon

Police said a woman struck a man’s arm with a baseball bat during a disturbance in Dubuque. 38-year-old Kristina J. Ruggirello of Warren, Ill., was arrested at 12:08 p.m. Sunday on West 12th Street on a charge of domestic assault while using a dangerous weapon. Court documents state that Ruggirello was handling a bat during a disturbance with a man at approximately 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the area of Grove Terrace and 12th Street. A witness saw Ruggirello strike the man’s arm with a bat during an argument.
