According to ABC 7 in Chicago, an adult female sheep was recently on the lam (not LAMB) in downtown McKinley Park. Local resident Dale Austin was on her morning walk when she encountered the creature, which she thought was a ram, but clearly was not a Dodge pickup truck. Eventually Chicago Animal Control cornered the sheep, and were able to transport it to a local animal welfare facility. It is not known at this time if it is in fact the ‘black sheep’ of the family. Local officials said if anyone does come forward looking for their lost sheep, they can call Chicago Animal Care and Control to make a claim.
