The Wisconsin DOT is moving ahead with projects – even as the state is dealing with a public health emergency. Department of Transportation officials plan to begin work on the Highway 18 Bridge connecting Prairie du Chien and Marquette. According to a release from the DOT, the work that begins March 23 will include deck repairs, guardrail replacement and paving on the Marquette-Joliet Bridge. Motorists should expect single-lane closures while crews are making the updates along the bridge.
